problems in the past, so we hope there not any problems, and if there is, they'll be able to address them. >> reporter: we we found a clear history of problems at giants-dodgers games. last year out of the four games, three were games against the dodgers. in february, our investigation exposed problems with fan violence at virtually every bay area venue. tonight sfpd says it will proactively work to prevent any problems at the giants-dodgers became. >> we want to make sure that's a fun, family atmosphere for people to enjoy themselves. >> reporter: several requests to the oakland police department, if there were any arrests

so it's a never ending circle. >> instead of facing charges, the teenagers will now get help with housing and counseling to be sure that they don't return to those who exploited them. fire investigators in redwood city now say two early morning car fires could be the work of arsonists. is blazes broke out just after 3:00 in the morning. police have detained two men for questioning. one of the men was videotaped purchasing a container of gasoline from a nearby convenience store. a similar fire aweek -- authorities are also saying the fires could be gang related. a ruling by the supreme court involving teenagers, mandatory life sentences have been ruled cruel and unusual punishment. california does not have mandatory life sentences, however today's ruling will see some big changes here.

the teenaged driver with the death of a father and daughter. more than 1,000 people have signed that peat so far. concord police recommended the driver david rosen face manslaughter charges, however the da's office must make that final decision. san francisco police are asking your help in tracking down a missing man. he was last seen tuesday, six days ago. we spoke with his mother today. >> using live gps tracking, evan is described as being 6'1", blond hair, blue eyes. please contact the san francisco

year, that is quite cool, 72 degrees in concord, 70 degrees in livermore and we got a good sol lid case of that air conditioning. if you're going to be heading out, through about 7:00 tonight, winds 15 to 30 miles an hour and a breezy night to the first game of the giants versus the dodgers. coming up, we'll see low 60s, a bit gusty at times, and we'll also see some low clouds drifting across the bay around the 7th, 8th and 9th innings. the trend here, once we get back tomorrow, it's going to be a warming trend. in the meantime, kind of an interesting twist to our weather, showing up right now on the satellite. this is a weather system that is bringing rain to our north and

may add just enough lift to the clouds to give us a little rain or drizzle for your morning commute. especially long the coast. then right around lunchtime, north winds start to pick up, it's going to clear out our skies and those temperatures are going to climb right up. maybe not quite, upper 70s to near 80 out by livermore, 60s and 70s, warming up a little bit tomorrow. some 60s for your tuesday, but once you pass tuesday, we're talking mid to upper 80s. we'll show you that forecast coming up in our next half hour. coming up a lesson they should have never had to learn. the teacher under arrest for ordering his students to attack each other. and a first for facebook, the history making decision to help break a glass ceiling.

tonight a federal hot line is set up for the public to voice concerns about the u.s. supreme court. the court eliminated parts of arizona's immigration law. >> both sides have something to celebrate as the high court handed downing the arizona decision. by 5-3, the justices upheld the most controversial part of the law, requiring police to check the immigration status of anyone they stop and suspect is not in the u.s. legally. the court rejecting the claim that that's only the federal government's job. swing justice anthony kennedy sideded with court conservatives, writing for the majority. the mandatory nation of the arizona status checks does not interfere with a federal immigration scheme.

people just because they're the children of undocumented workers. >> mitt romney too was cautious, saying in a statement the nation leads comprehensive immigration reform. i'm steve handlesman nbc news at the supreme court. the supreme court announces it's ruling thursday on president obama's health care reform plan, no state has for invested than california. depending on how the justices vote, millions in the bay area will be affected. if the court strikes down any part of the law, about 17 million residents will feel the impact. if the entire law is overturned, california could lose about $9 billion a year in future federal funds. temperatures making things worse in colorado where wildfires are still burning out of control. >> janell is here with our national and international headlines. >> firefighters from around the country have converged in colorado to help battle nearly a dozen wildfires burning across

the state. the high park fire near ft. collins is the most destructive fire in colorado history, burning nearly 250 homes. it's being blamed for the death of one person. it started nearly two weeks ago by lightning. the waldo canyon fire near colorado springs is threatening hundreds of homes and,soonds of residents have been evacuated. the weaver fire has burned over 8,000 acres, it's zero percent contained. and mother nature is not cooperating as tropical storm debby has stalled. it's hugging the coastline right now and that is not good news, potentially even causing more damage by just lingering there. heavy rains have flooded low lying neighborhoods. debby is also sparking tornadoes, killing one man on florida's gulf coast. and in alabama, a young man went missing in the rough surf. florida's governor has declared

state wide emergencies. george zimmerman's attorneys have tried to get him bail for the second time. he was ordered back to zwral earlier this month after a judge said he and his wife lied to the court about how much money they had, prompting a lower bond. a judge will continue the seconds bond request on friday. a search and rescue plane was looking for the plane that was shot down last friday over the mediterranean sea. >> in a new york timtsz opinion piece, carter condemned the drone strikes in the northeast, saying innocent civilians were

also killed. he called it a violation of human rights, the attack just encouraging america's enemies and alienates our allies. egypt's new president moved into his office today. egypt's stock index rose. a teacher in southern california is under suspicion of directing students to attack other students. three boys that were attacked. one of them suffering minor injuries. police say that melroads may

have ordered his students to carry out one of the assaults. investigators say de la rosa was somehow trying to curb behavior problems in that classroom. college students may soon benefit from a new equation from governor brown in sacramento. if voters approve a tax -- budget related bill that would appropriate $125 million each for the uc and csu systems in the 2013, 2014 academic year. but the money would only be available if the -- you see it's considering a 730 increase, while csu already approved a $500 tuition hike. how can they make that mistake, a mural that took two years to make has been destroyed. students and parents are devastated tonight after learning that workers mistakenly

painted over a mural that students spent years creating. christie smith has more from san francisco. >> you can actually still see traces of the mural, this is the san francisco city theme, it runs almost the entire length of the block. right now, it's under a coat of primer, when painters came to fix up the school for summer, boy, they made a big mistake and painted right over it. but this was actually approved by the school district that it be painted over, so now they're trying to fix it back up. the school mascot which is a dragon, they just finished up this project last month. voters approved a bond measure to paint and repair the school that also had some crumbling murals on it elsewhere. parents and teachers agreed on which ones to --

starts to come out of the north, we're going to try things out. 60s and low 70s is still outside right now. once that sea breeze picks up, it does feel very chilly out there. it's jacket weather around the bay area right now. now if you're going to head out to the ballpark, it's giants sweatshirt weather. it's a little bit breezy out there too, winds up to 32 miles an hour. sunny now and then partly cloudy skies and some low clouds coming in later on tonight. the satellite view is actually pretty interesting for this time of year, it is late june now and we still have these troughs of low pressure bringing rain off from the north. in fact the regional satellite and radar view, you're seeing some showers, as this boundary passes through the bay area, it's going to take what's left of the low clouds, add a little extra lift. you may see a hit and miss area of mist and drizzle as you're seeing right there, around some
